When AT&T refreshed its retail branding, an existing Bay Area location needed its exterior signage brought in line with the current corporate identity. We removed the previous signage and installed a new illuminated AT&T logo sign and channel letters designed for stronger day-and-night visibility, consistent branding, and more efficient LED illumination.

Why the AT&T Sign Was Replaced
Project Challenges
Installation Process
- Assess the Existing Sign and Confirm Permitting: We reviewed mounting, electrical, and access conditions, and confirmed permitting requirements for the replacement.
- Remove the Old Signage: Existing letters were carefully detached and disposed of.
- Prepare the Storefront: We checked mounting areas and electrical connections for the new configuration.
- Install and Align: We positioned the new logo and channel letters to match approved brand specifications.
- Test Illumination: We checked electrical connections and nighttime visibility before completion.
Why LED Channel Letters Made Sense
LED channel letters typically require less routine maintenance than the fluorescent or neon systems used in older sign technologies, since fewer components need periodic replacement. Our licensed electrician handles the electrical connections and illumination testing on projects like this, which matters for a system that has to stay reliably lit for a national retail brand.
For an AT&T store sign, that combination means consistent visibility after dark without sacrificing the clean appearance the brand expects.
Results: A Cleaner, Current Storefront
The completed installation replaced outdated branding with a current, illuminated AT&T identity that remains recognizable during the day and visible after dark. The project also demonstrates how we adapt national brand standards to the practical conditions of an individual Bay Area storefront.
