Vending machines need to advertise what they contain so people can get a sense. That is usually done with graphics on their front panel as well as the side panels. The same type of graphics may also be used for corporate cafeteria refrigerators. If the vending machine or refrigerator has back lit panels, then the graphics will have to be produced using translucent media.
