The old adage ‘out with the old, in with the new’ is not always a cost-effective approach when it comes to monument signs. Take the monument signs for Peninsula Volunteers. The monuments has good quality aluminum lettering on them. They just blended too much into the background of an old monument with a light color. So they approached Signs Unlimited to assist them in giving the monuments a brand new look. Since we had not built these monuments, we had to create installation (or re-installation) patterns for the lettering so we can re-install them after the monuments were refurbished. The new color chosen provided a much more attractive background for the silver letters. Here are some of the completion photos.
