Exterior building signs may require city permits. Getting a city permit could be tricky and requires the sign company to know that particular city’s sign ordnances and procurement processes. Of course these processes widely range as you go from one city to the next. Here is an example of an exterior building sign that we designed, fabricated, and installed, for a business in Palo Alto. The sign was made with custom cut acrylics painted to match client’s specific colors and logo requirements, and was installed with spacers. The sign was also fully permitted through the city.
