Once again a corporate merger/acquisition results in a whole new logo change for a company in the valley. Pericom became Diodes. This project posed some unique technical challenges. The new logo had to be fabricated as individual letters and installed in a flat manner even though the main building fascia was curved with custom brushed aluminum paneling. We spent a substantial amount of time on design work until the client was fully satisfied with the implementation method. Due to wind load characteristics, we worked with a structural engineering firm to validate and certify our installation method for the main building sign. The scope of work included two exterior building signs (one LED illuminated), one double sided LED illuminated monument, a lobby sign, and a logo sign for the shipping and receiving. Of course city permits and inspection were are also required for this scope of work. Please see some completion photos. #diodes #LEDletters #channelletters
